I counted 90 Z's at the car show, and there were more that weren't in the show, so I would say 100+ Z's were there.

I had a great time this year, it was good meeting Chris (greavous), Mike (Desert Dog), Matt (alhickabee), Ryan (96ryan300zx). For the record, I was awesome to finally meet many of you guys in person. Other than images we all present online it was good to put a face to the name. I had too much fun, too many days in a row, drank way too much, stayed up way to late every night, drove my car on some of the wickedest roads you can drive upon, and got some new direction re: my car and more upgrades. I had 11 hours to think about next year on my drive home today and baring fuel costing $50 per gallon next year I have every intent to be there again. I just wonder if the Ramada Inn will have us after all the partying that took place!?!

I just hope the new nickname doesnt stick.

To all that called me on my way home to see at what point in my trip were I was at...thanks. After stopping off and seeing my mother on the way home I finally made it home by 9:05PM. Me and Chris (Greavous) saw some mess-up property from tornados in Arkansas, but it looked like it was a couple of weeks old, but still mess-up bad.

I'll have to post up my pics and some Desert-Dog (Mike) up loaded to my camera...thanks, Mike.

And yes it was a hoot meeting Greavous (Chris) for the first time and Cayoncarver's son Adam (Trashguy), and Tim (Spawn) As always the roads were just amazing as they were last year.

I have to post this. Me and Steve drove 35 minutes on Wednesday to meet Chris so they could go get Goldie in Columbia from the transmission shop. They didn't get back to Branson till like 1am. It was thought that the transmission was fixed, but come cruise time, the transmission decided to take a shit again, so she was taken away on a trailer. It was too great of an opportunity to take pictures of Goldie on a trailer! LMAO!

My first run ever down the track...My first pass I just rolled into the staging lanes when Matt (eviltwins) says they need one more for the heads up competition and asked if wanted to run him. Of course I wanted to see that beast run in the lane next to me for my first run ever. I launched at about 4k, popped the clutch a little too hard and got a bit too much wheel spin. I looked down to see 6.5k coming up fast and the tires still screaming.

I have to post this. Me and Steve drove 35 minutes on Wednesday to meet Chris so they could go get Goldie in Columbia from the transmission shop. They didn't get back to Branson till like 1am. It was thought that the transmission was fixed, but come cruise time, the transmission decided to take a shit again, so she was taken away on a trailer. It was too great of an opportunity to take pictures of Goldie on a trailer! LMAO!

Oh and it was great meeting everyone, way too many names to list since I'm sure I'd accidently leave some out. Lets just say I found out really quick that I should have done stillen sway bars already, but that will be the first mod done this summer. I also have to track down a 2+2s driver-side window tomorrow. Hopefully next year I'll be a bit more prepared for the show and the twisties (mainly the latter though). Hope to see a lot of ya'll in Tulsa!

Shane, we went to SDC Sunday morning and of all things I ran into this guy that had "Piranha Z" on the front of his sweat shirt.

Mike, the funny part about the AT, he hasn't had any trouble with it. He dropped the pan and flushed the entire system. There was no debris in it, and the clutches aren't burnt, so we're all bewildered as to what went wrong with it, it's been shifting fine for him. I've already vowed, if I have to pull the engine again, it will get a 5spd swap, I have had the parts to do it for years, I just really wanted her auto...

That's Max. That is also a perfect example of why not to get trashed at Z Fest, lol...

I had a great time and it was nice seeing everyone again! I wish my flippin injector didn't start screwing up at the track... I really feel like I could've pulled a 12.6-12.7 out of my ass, but 12.9 will do. :(

Highway H was so much fun that we did it going up to the track event, and then did it on the way back from the track. We did slow down a little after coming across some deer on the road after dark.

The best stretch of road by far was Highway 160 after the ferry crossing. We came across maybe 3 pace cars but they didn't hold us up for long.

Speaking of self serve gasoline, the last time that I was in Oregon, they didn't allow you to self serve your gas. It was a law that a station attendant filled you up. It's been 15 years since, so I don't know if it's still that way.

I remember driving through New Jersey and getting gas a few years back. I forgot that N.J. has no self serve. The attendent darn near had a stroke from sprinting out of the station yelling, no, no, no... no self serve!!...lol.

Most of the gas dispenser stations in my area are self serve, unless they have a Service Garage on site and then it's Full Serve\Self Serve; your choice, based on the lane you choose.

We are at $3.95 for Mobil 93 Octane here...

there wasnt a thing wrong with it last year Si. Gas is half the price now and if things hold price wise id hope for even more to turn out. there were 130 or so Zcars all together. Some of the older cars were extra nice. The weather wont be killer hot either!
