Remember that there will be (2) concurrent group buys going on each month. "Winning" items that go on special a given month will be removed from consideration in the polls for 6-12 subsequent months. In order to keep 10 items up for consideration each month, new items will be introduced into the poll each month. No need to worry, because everyone will get an opportunity over the next few months to save money on a variety of parts applicable to their particular Z32 model.

We do not have a preference and you guys ultimately make the call, but it is worth noting that we can provide considerably more total savings on the "big" items. Just for instance, 20% off of the UD pulley is $25 but 15% off a GT675RS turbo kit w/DPs is over $500. So even through the percentages of savings are similar the difference in the magnitude of total savings is huge.

If we can recommend parts, I would like to recommend a complete Powertrix Adjustable Kit ( Front Upper Control, Tension, Rear upper control and toe/traction rods) and add the ability for TTs to purchase HICAS eliminators. A lot of Z owners want to do suspension stuff, but those damn adjustables will kill you. If we do the adjustables I think it would be best if we did it as a kit, because that way it knocks it all out in 1 shot, rather than dragging it out into a 6 month time span...

Maybe a GB on Powertrix coilovers, sway bars, powertrix rear strut bar, or the eibach/kyb combo (maybe even Ground Control?!?)

Oh, and don't forget the Energy Suspension Master Bushing Set!

First off, They have B&B and I doubt that SZ will ever be on a group buy becuase I think they are the only ones that sell there exhaust (I have one tho and I know why you would want one :D) I don't think the Keys will happen either due to supply unless someone makes some.

Second, Gauge rings are cheap so is a Z battery tie down.

well i would think that to fully take advantage of 58 mm tb's you'd have to open up all the restrictions leading up to the tb's like the compressor inlet, turbo, compr outlet piping to the IC and all the IC piping to the tb's.

on a z with basic bolt ons though i belive z1 did a test a while back with the tb's and dyno came out to ~8-10 rwhp.

My vote is for a group buy on one piece drive shafts. Maybe a choice of steel or aluminum. This is something that everyone can use. Twin turbo, & non turbo guys. The stock one is heavy, & has that stupid carrier bearing that always goes bad. Even if you have an otherwise stock Z, this is something you can benefit from. Not terribly expensive either.

I think the reasoning that it might be a poorer use of a group buy, is because, who can't afford a $125 pulley, even at retail price? Do we really need a group buy for inexpensive items? At the $95 group buy price, yes it is definitely a good deal, but you only saved $30. Don't get me wrong, I like saving $30 as much as the next guy, but something with a higher retail price would have been much more of a benefit. Good examples of group buys that were well deserving of your votes, are both of the items in the 1st G.B., & the upgraded throttle bodies that are going on this month. At $425, they are expensive enough that a lot of people probably will not buy them. But with a $130 discount, @ $295, I'm sure a lot of people will jump at them. That is a much better use of a group buy, because it saves a lot more money, & makes a relatively expensive product, very affordable. It will put them on a lot of Z's that otherwise probably wouldn't have had them. IMHO, that's the kind of things that you should be voting on for group buys. Everybody is still going to buy the cheaper add ons, weather they are on a group buy or not. Just my 2 cents.

Nissan just had a huge price increase on the accessory belts about a month ago. Some of the prices on them almost doubled. The $40 price for 3 belts is way below current Nissan list price. Many vendors may have not updated their prices yet, or are selling stock purchased at the old prices.

Hee hee.. well, the 99spec is being done by the body shop, I haven't installed the SMI's yet and will most likely pick up the this months group buys around the end of the month.

In all honesty, I haven't even taken possetion of the car yet. The new turbos were just installed this week, GT525's. Now it's off to the body shop to get some minor stuff taken care of and Katskins leather installed. I should have the car in a week or so.

Regarding your comments about other items for GB, there is already a radiator arguably better than the KOYO as an option in the voting as well as a big brake kit, and the GT675RS kit contains the same turbos as the Sport 700 upgrade but in a more complete package. Most of what you asked for is already in the voting.

I would like to see a couple things get considered at least to make it into the voting, so we can see if others are interested. These are things that most everyone wants, & would probably sell a bunch of on a group buy. Chrome intake plenum with the option of the Z1 Chrome Intake Hardpipe Kit. That's got to be #1 on everybodys wish list for engine dress up. The other thing on my wish list, that I don't necessarily need, but want, is a Z1 one piece driveshaft. I want a steel one, but would probably spring for the aluminum if it was the right price. I think if there was a group buy on the chrome plenum, everyone would understand that Z1 doesn't keep dozens of them on hand, pre-chromed, & it might take a little time, & you would need some cores. I have a spare core I could send in, + the one that's on my car. It's in storage for at least 2 more months anyhow, & I would imagine many others are also, so getting cores for chroming probably would be easy at this time of the year. Just a suggestion...

If i were to get the z1 turbos.. I dont want thoses toys r us brand of dps.. SZ is the only way to go with BB turbos.. I have the SZ on stock turbos an they sing more then my buddy with the amz's (basically the same)..

finally got my Z1 SMICs in tonight, thanks to "ICE95Z" for the extra set of hands and garage space.

Didn't know you could get them in without pulling off the fascia - was time consuming, but not too bad.

BTW, they were worth every penny.

Your buddy, not to be mean, does not know enough about this specific car. People have run street cars and high performance engines with UD pulley kits and have had no problems with them (vibrations, etc.)

Look into it more, search for underdrive pulley on the site and you'll find alot of information.

You can gain some real HPs from this cheap upgrade.
