tnkrstoyco, just want to say that you guys have done an amazing job with the group buys all along. Ive bought two things so far and will try to keep buying things whenever something I need/want comes up. :)
As for all the junk you had to deal with on the big brake kit issues.... people are stupid and there was no reason for them to be blaming you guys! Yes, a mistake was made, but not your guys fault and quite frankly, im sure the brakes are just fine. I'll be looking forward to the next group buy, but no worries, no rush, you guys can take all the time you need to brainstorm.
P.S. I say you ban the complainers. hahaha.

I really appreciate all the support here and in PM's we've received.
I'll be gone all next week Tuesday-Sunday. While I will be on off and on, I will be busy as hell at Branson. Most of the Staff will be either at Branson or Zdayz.
I will be checking PM's and e-mail and try to stay up on what's going on with the store and forum. I do plan on having some fun.

just wanted to say I've bought several things from the GBs (rad pipe, cowling, shifter, ams pulleys, brake kit....) and all have made it to MAINE within 3 days of ordering, GROUND. that kind of service isn't easy to come by these days. I try to pick up at least one item a month, and appreciate you helpin out us noobs who have recently gotten into the Z game. the effort you guys put in to making these happen could never be over appreciated.
If ya take some time off, I say it's well deserved, and I'll be waiting the next month, ready to order again.

Last month I ordered the Z1 Clutch Kit on Sunday the 19th, to my surprise the Clutch arrived on Thursday the 23rd. I was absolutely amazed it the processing and shipping time involved. I will definitely more purchases through the monthly group buys. Thanks for providing the amazing service.

:gtfo: thats awesome cant wait!
The Group buys are great. I have bought several things, and though I misunderstood this last group buy(though there was a windshield in the mox, and not just the mouldings), I buy everything you put up that I need. I have bought a few things through the club store as well. Everything comes quickly, filled right, and with no worries!
I have had a few issues with getting an order placed, and even that was handled straight away via email, I would say someone spends too muc time on the computer, but that leaves it open as to whether I am talking about me or LIB!
You guys have done a great job, saved me much money and furthered the massive and continuing enjoyment of my driving and restoring my 300ZX Convertible!
Thank You

I ordered my Trim kit and Brake Master Cylinder Brace Thursday and they arrived today! 3zc never ceases to amaze me and I stand 100% with all the previous posts talking about how great the GB's are. You guys need to hold off on the GB so I can save a little money, lol. I was also curious as to why there was no voting for June, but it's not that big of a deal. You guys are working hard on it so you got no complaints out of me. I appreciate all the hard work fellas, keep it up!
So about the brakes from the last group buy-
Why are they falsely advertised as Brembos?

I don't exactly spend alot of time on here so thanks for the info, I'll look it up.

I've purchased numerous items from the 3ZC Store (I think 5 or 6 purchases by now), all with successfull results. My most recent purchase (58mm Throttle Bodies) was processed very quickly and the Store even accomodated my shipping request (USPS).
Nothing but positive service here. It would be nice that some people would not focus too strongly on what's percieved as negative points when there are so so many good things about the 3ZC Store. As a business of sorts it's not always possible to satisfy ALL of the people ALL of the time. We as consumers I believe take the 3ZC Store for granted sometimes and vocalize some of our discontent, which is understandable and the Store in turn should recognize that and not take such negative comments too seriously as well.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that if we keep in mind the spirit and intent of what the 3ZC Store is all about I think there will be less ruffled feathers and less negative comments (in both directions).
As always, my $.02 :)
Keep up the great work guys.

Have always been very happy with club store purchases up until today. Came into work to get my TB's and only one was packed in the box. Both gaskets and hardware bags, but only one TB. I'm thinking ZdayZ was probably not a good weekend to order things, but hoping we can get the issue resolved. The invoice weight says 6.06 lbs and the fedex label is reading 3.0lbs, so thinking is was just a mis pack.

I gotcha . . . the correct spelling for the word is preceding.
New GB's are always posted at the beginning of each month.
Thats not always true. . . . IIRC this past month GB was posted several days after the month had started.

I gotcha . . . the correct spelling for the word is preceding.
Thats not always true. . . . IIRC this past month GB was posted several days after the month had started.Appologies on the spelling.
Whether or not it's the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or whatever day of the month it shouldn't matter to us when it comes to these trivial matters. We're not talking about a company mandated to provide X service but rather a few individuals who have taken it upon themselves as enthusiasts to provide a valued service. Something that they are not required or compelled to do. To miss one month on a GB will not be the end of the world to the membership. These GB's are opportunities and not requirments of this Forum and should not be viewed as obligatory provisions of this Forum. Keeping this in mind might be the catalyst for more GB's. Being nit-picky about such small items does not bode well as an incentive for those who put in the extra hours for these GB's.
Expressions like "crapping in your own backyard" or biting the hand that feeds you" come to mind.
Hopefully this last round of petty finger pointing won't discourage the GB organizers from offering more GB's and you comments on the timeliness of posting the new GB's doesn't help towards these ends.

as a follow up, after sending an email to the store and to N20z, I recieved an email and a phone call within a few hours, on a friday. We discussed the package, it's condition, and the possiblity of maybe the carrier's involvement. Monday morning I recieved an invoice for the replacement throttle body.
I want all to see an example of how everyone is human, people can sometimes make a mistake, and how there's no need to get upset or trash the mods or the store. I think all too often people in online forums (in general) are too quick to get all up in arms and degrade the reputation of companies. i think it's the equivalent of someone yelling at a clerk in the middle of a store, unclassy and uncalled for. 3ZC handled the matter quickly and professionaly, made good on a mistake, and for that I think they're top notch and will continue to use and reccomend their business to anyone.

There is no rush bro, take your time. I hope you didn't take my previous post as me trying to tell you how to do your job. I was just realistically looking at how things stand currently and provided my best guess for when things might return.

Just ordered front and rear adjustable control arms from the 3zc store and I just have to say Wow. I ordered on June 23 and they showed up on my doorstep in Edmonton on the 25. Very, very impressed.

My only point of complaint would be poor welds on the rear control arms. Luckily I can fix this issue myself, but for the price I expected the quality to be there. Regardless I am very impressed with the transaction and look forward to more in the future.

Great place to do transactions and great deals as well!
As for the welds they are consistent with other units on the market we've installed and no tinkering is needed. Hundreds sold with usage on the street and track with zero failures to date. We have some pics of a Z mounting a curve with our AMS rear units and the welds did not fail in this instance either. Just wanted to disspell any concerns. Buzz us if you have any further questions.

Wanted to give another big THANKS to the 3ZC store. I Purchased a set of AMS pulley's last Wednesday, arrived on my doorstep Friday afternoon. I bugged them several times about which pulley's to run on my NA-TT conversion that was still using the NA p/s pump and they were quick to respond and even accomodated me when I purchased just 2 belts instead of all 3 (I have no a/c)
Well done guys, never a second thought about purchasing from you!

I like the 3ZC/Z1 outfit. They have great customer service, prices and fast shipping. I am very happy overall.
I do have a small complaint though. I ordered the Z1 2.5" downpipes thinking they would be 2.5" instead of the much cheaper and smaller diameter ebay/chinese downpipes. Well these Z1 downpipes ARE NOT 2.5" I.D. The testpipes I ordered with them are 2.5" I.D. and when I called about it they tried to pass it off as a referenced 2.5" O.D. No exhaust piping I have ever run across is stated by the outer diameter, and thought that if I was gonna get the cheaper/smaller DP's then I should not have had to pay $345 instead of $100.
So, I would recommend them to state what they're selling because misleading information is a quick way for a buyer to lose confidence in the company.

Sorry you feel that you've been deceived, but relax because it turns out that you are wrong. The Z1 downpipes you were sent are a full 2.5" OD. They are Z1 specific and not from the same suppliers as all the pipes on Ebay. Contrary to your belief, most all exhaust products are sold and advertised based on the OD of the piping. The sizes of the catback systems we have here from several different manufactures are listed as the OD dimension. All of the Ebay Z32 downpipes are 60mm OD, which is 2.36 " OD. The Z1 downpipes also have a considerably larger diameter turbine outlet pipe than the E-bay pipes. The E-bay pipes are not welded inside and outside like the Z1 pipes and the piping is not as thick.

Okay, so why designate one set of piping by the ID and the others by the OD?
Edit:
It's not that big of a deal really and is why I said I'm overall very happy. I will continue to buy from Z1/C3Z it's just that I was kinda disappointed in this finding. Maybe any future confusion can be avoided by stating "ID" or "OD" in the listing. I too own a shop and run a website store, and know that the last thing I want is confusing or what could seem to be misleading info.

[QUOTE]
All of the Z1 downpipes and testpipes are made from 2.5" OD piping. We've verified that with Z1 and just went and checked the ones here. I guess you are saying that your Z1 testpipes are larger than 2.5" OD? We have no evidence to support that.

I am sad to say that I have bad feedback for the 3Z store. About a month ago my rear rotors and pads got a rock stuck in them and both were damaged and fronts were about in need of replacing. I decided I would get all new brakes and rotors and started researching. I found tons of sites that sold a bundle deal for the Z32: Powertrix, 3Z store, Z1, CZ, SZ, etc etc. Well I decided to try and support our 3z store although I usually don't. I purchased the Brembo slotted rotors with Hawk HPS pads, Motul RB fluid, etc. Total was about 630$...
To the bad part, I was sent an e-mail saying that the items would be shipped on a date, then I was given a tracking number with a side note saying that the rotors would be shipped seperately. About 4 days later I received a package and inside was the lines, pads, and fluid. Things looked like they were going good and I would just be waiting for a few more days for the rotors. I was not given a tracking number for the rotors but I was told they would be shipping out of Cali. I figured it would take a few days considering I am in Cali. I waited 4 days with constant e-mails being sent to them asking whats going on and to please keep me updated because my car is down and I need to fix it. Finally they sent me two tracking numbers, and for the past 3 days I put them in USPS constantly and it never came up with results. I sent them an e-mail the other day stating how dissapointed I was and how I would like to know whats going on considering I just spent 600$ and all I got was the tracking numbers and no replies. Today I got a package and went and picked it up, it was only ONE of the sets of rotors in a Brembo box that looked that it was from the 40's(it was totally trashed and worn out, looked very old.) Then I took the rotors out of box and they had flaws on them, I don't believe any flaws that would affect the performance but for 600$ I was expecting "New" rotors...They have chips on the edges, extra casting all over, and small gashes. The packaging was also HORRIBLE. just shipped in box with no padding. I will post pictures tomorrow but I am defintely VERY dissapointed. I am not sure if I want to even put them on my car yet, and on top of that I STILL don't have the other set of rotors....
anyways I am done venting, I can't believe how horrible this transaction went. I could have saved a lot of time and trouble ordering from a vendor who keeps in touch with there customers and makes sure the customers happy.

Please contact N20Z or lifeisboost about the order, we'll need the order number to check into it.

You ordered slotted only rotors and left very specific instructions in the comments box which we made sure and followed. All of the parts to your brake kit except the rotors shipped immediately. You were informed right away that we did not have those particular rotors you requested in stock and that the rotors were drop shipping from a vendor in California although we did not state exactly when they would ship or when you would receive them. You were communicated with via numerous e-mails on a timely basis and given all the information that we were being given from our supplier. The situation was not in our direct control but we did our best to answer your questions and make sure that you received what you ordered in a reasonable time frame. You did receive exactly what you ordered. You weren't promised anything that wasn't delivered on and there was no lapse in commuication. At this point to avoid any future problems and for your protection we are removing you from the list of members who are eligible to purchase in the 3ZC Store. We want to make sure that neither party slips up and makes the mistake of doing business together again.
Recieved my 58mm TB's this past week.
Many thanks guys for the USPS shipping process. It helped immensely in many ways. :)
What is the main benefit for you of the USPS shipping to Canada? Do you get to avoid the duties and taxes entirely?

Wasn't impressed. Tried to purchase a Z1 TT auto (built) transmission and it actually was costing more than buying it though the Z1 site. The base price was cheaper but than the buyer was hit with more and higher charges than buying it though Z1's site so the overall (final) total was about $ 90 more. This was in October or November. Wound up buying a Specialty Z...

What is the main benefit for you of the USPS shipping to Canada? Do you get to avoid the duties and taxes entirely?Sorry about not noticing this query sooner.
Shipping through USPS means that it will be processed at the border by Canada Post. Canada Post charges a flat rate brokerage fee which is substantially lower than any of the couriers out there to the tune of ~ $10.00. I've had to pay nearly 100% of the product value in brokerage fees alone not counting the the other associated duties/tarrifs. But for me it also means that I can pick up my package at my local Post Office at my liesure when I receive a notice of it's arrival if it won't fit into my roadside mailbox. But for a courier like UPS, they require the recipient to sometimes sign for it or be present to receive it when they come to deliver. This poses a problem to me as I live alone there's no one to receive the package during weekday delivery times. This means I have to go to the nearest UPS warehouse which is more than 30 minutes away. The perils of rural living I guess.
I also have an easier time with the vendor marking the parcel as a "GIFT" or "WARRANTY RETURN" when it gets into the hands of Canada Post but not as fortunate with couriers like UPS who will open the package and decide for themselves if it's a gift or warranty return or not and levy fees accordingly.
UPS is a great shipping mechanism for shippers/vendors but not so much for the recipient.
I hope that helps clarify some of my and perhaps other's motivation for USPS over a courier.
BTW, have you determined when the next round of Store GB's will start again?

Just getting around to this thread.
I placed an order on Monday, Sept 28th and received it all in excellent condition and packaged properly that Friday. I wasn't concerned about speed, more concerned with proper packing and of course, the parts matching what I ordered. I was very satisfied.
This is what I ordered:
1 x Greddy Profec B SPEC2 Boost Controller
1 x Nismo Transmission Mount
1 x Z1 2.5" "5 bolt" Stainless Steel Downpipes
2 x AMS Z32 Rack Boot
1 x Upgraded Fuel Injectors & 300 Degree Rails
Injector Size 615cc
Upper/lower O-rings & insulators
Fuel lines and fittings
1 x AMS Max Flow TT Exhaust Manifolds
1 x Z1 SMIC (Sidemount Intercooler Kit) w/Free Shipping

Had an issue with placing an order today. Was buying the Z1 intake (pop charger) and my order wouldn't go through, as it said my card was invalid. All info was typed in correctly, I know for a fact, because I went to the Z1 website (paid an extra 6 bucks... lol) and the order went through with the card.
Will try again next time I order something :(

Adam, you should have let us know if you were having a problem with the form. We had a problem recently where it wouldn't accept any cards. lifeisboost takes care of the forms and such.

I would have but needed to get it ordered last night for it to get here ASAP and didn't want to wait. But no worries I'll be ordering more expensive stuff to support the forums before long.

Well might as well post my experience.
I recently purchased a large amount of goods from the forums store and i loved it. It had most of the parts Z1 sells at a slightly cheaper rate (actually how i found this forums). So i was excited and i was doing a rebuild. I was very satisfied with packing and shipping. The only thing i didn't care for was that they only offer 3 day shipping. With normal shipping i'm pretty sure if would of came in 2 days and been cheaper but, i dont mind. It was all in all good to support the forums and the products were great and at great products!
The only thing they need is a large inventory of items. U guys should combine sell everything that all the sponsors have to turn it into like a one stop shop thing.
Thanks 3ZC Store!

Man, I keep hearing that little voice inside my head saying "buy us... buy us..."

I think they said Cat back (not HKS, because hks= fail, lol), JDM front fascia, and the adjustable suspension kit needed to lower your z (rucas, fucas, tension rods, and whatever else)
YEA do it!

No I must have the HKS. Or the Greddy TiC works too, but I prefer the HKS.
Kaminari LED spoiler would be epic for me... My spoiler is literally shot.
lifeisboost, do you have any idea like how soon the next GB *might* be? I need to start placing orders for stuff in the next couple weeks to be sure I have everything by March, and I know how GB's can take a while sometimes...

I'm well aware of that... I just wanna see what the deals are first before I go drop close to a grand here, assuming I can find what I want.
With the Kaminari LED spoiler, that's gonna be a straight up replacement for the flushmount correct? Obviously it's a bit more "pronounced" but I just need to make sure it'll cover all the paint the current shitty spoiler is sitting on top of...
Also, I noticed it seems to have 1 or 2 square indentions on the part just above the tail lights, do you know what that's for?
Sorry if it's OT, but I might as well ask now.

Not really sure Adam, I just bought one from a member that had it and needed to sell. I'll have to look at it when I get it to answer your question.

I have now ordered several orders from 3ZC store, some inexpensive, some not. I have seen excellent service. I even had an order that didn't charge my card and was sitting in an "unpaid" status. I sent a note and within an hour or two, it was canceled. Very good!

Purchased the March Group Buy 99 JDM Facia Kit. Order went smooth. Kit arrived promptly and intact.
Good service for me, no complaints.

Just to make it clear. Unless requested to do otherwise, we leave unpaid orders in the system for a few days in case someone is having problems getting payment to process and needs to make alternative arrangements to pay like sending a Paypal payment directly to store@3zc.com and referencing the order #. The unpaid orders are just ignored and cancelled after a few days unless we receive correspondence from the customer regarding them.

Wrong.
It's for the Kam badge.
The sr71 badges had nothing to do with it. All the newer Kam wings have that indentation. I had mine filled in.
