I ordered a major order. Had quick confirmation of the order. The set of Jspec tails had a price drop right after my order was confirmed and they got me a refund with out a problem.
Majority of he order was shipped within a week and received. The Jspecs were a week later, but I was notified immediately and given options, refund, hold shipment for balance or ship. I had the big part shipped waited on the Jspecs. All was received.

What's a week when the first set I got came from Japan and took 6 months. That was several years ago.

I ordered both items from Jan 08's group buy. All items came in a timely manner. The 99spec front facia however was missing mounting hardware so I had to purchase those from Nissan. Were they suppose to come with mounting hardware? I haven't opened the box for the SMI yet, hope they are complete.

I ordered my short shifter from the store and I am very very pleased with the service. Although I haven't installed it yet, I am more than satisfied with the customer service and quickness of replies to any questions I've had.

Only downside [that I have to live with] is the shipping time, but I blame that solely to the fact that I'm all the way out here in Hawaii - things take longer to come in, but it's understandable and accepted anyway.

I also like that the shipping prices to Hawaii are already up there on the site, and even if they aren't for some parts, a simple outgoing email with a quick reply never fails.

It's safe to say that I will be making a purchase from there again, and hopefully very soon. I want my taillights haha!

YEY for 60mm TBs! Great shipping and service. Yet another reason to love 3ZC!

The parcel took a while to send but once sent it came promptly. They give you a url to track which is pretty good, keeps you informed all the time. Postage is a bit steep compared to other vendors, but good price balances out (would be superb if postage can be same as other vendors + the the ongoing good prices). Customer service/emails are good. HOWEVER. They (either 3zc or fedex - not sure) wrote the address wrong which I am not very happy with, silly mistake that should not have happened... luckily they have my phone number as well so it turned out fine at the end, otherwise package might of been lost etc. Could have received it earlier if the mistake didn't happen. Parcel is well packaged and items inside looks secure. Hope the belts are correct which I am sure they will be.

Overall satisfactory, however there are still areas for improvement.
Will I shop again? Yes, especially if postage prices drop.

Pilot.P, try to get together with Mungyz. The shipping to New Zealand is way high. See if ya'll can get more order together to save shipping. Richard ordered a $13 key that would end up $96 by the time it's shipped by ups. That's thru another vendor. They are sending the key to me and I'm sending it with some shirts.

i just bought the ams ud pulley and belts on friday. its saturday and i got the pulley but not the belts. after an email to the admins they admitted fault and are shipping me the belts on monday and i should get them monday. i think its topnotch for them to take responsibility for a mistake, and commend them for the fast email response. even though the order got mixed up i will deffinately buy from the store again.

Just made my second purchase through the store on Tuesday, ordered myself the set of red stitched shifter goodies! Both orders were processed and shipped to my door within three days! Can't beat that!

However, just got the recent order and was presented with a red stitched shift knob, red stitched ebrake boot, and an OEM non red stitched shifter boot! Help! I know I ordered the red stitch, and am assuming my order just got mixed up. What do I need to do to resolve this!?

I have a quick question i just ordered the 99 tails and red stitch goodies.
When you order the Tails it has you select shipping then when you checkout you pay for shipping again? Is that suppose to happen or did i mess something up?

You should only pay for shipping once. Did it ask you the mode of shipping the first time and figure it in or was it figured in the second time. If there was an error it should be caught when the order is verified.

You only pay once for shipping. the shipping screen is only verifying your shipping information.unless of course you had more items when checking out. then you where only charged for those extra items

The first time it asked it was for the tails then you select where there going e(ex. Continental US via FedEx Ground (+$10.00)) Then when i was checking out it wanted me to select fedex shipping for 5lbs which was another $14.88

The thing is that it's still processing :( I placed the order on Sunday, so I thought it would ship out on Monday and be at my door on Tuesday. My car was supposed to be back from a clutch job and few other things on Tuesday and since my driveshaft was screwed I decided to get a 1 piece one, but looks like it's already running late... I think I regret paying more than $100 for shipping.

I am very glad 3ZC store took the time to make sure each tail light was securely and safely packaged because the big box they came in had a huge dent, looked like a big old dude sat on it, right where it said "Fragile" however the tail lights were in great condition, Thanks.

We have just installed a USPS shipping option (on a trial basis for this month) that should help our international customers. From our overall expereince USPS is considerably less reliable with international shipments than FedEx who have been nothing short of perfect, but the price of perfection is becoming a bit prohibitive.

Now another problem that I need some support on. I ordered the 13" BBK Baer 2pc a while ago from the group buy, and recently sold it to someone else. I didn't give it a very thorough comb over when I got it, I only opened the package and looked at the rotors and put everything back, and assumed everything was there. Now apparently the hubcentric rings apparently were left out of the package, can anyone help with this? I've emailed a couple times on the original order info email about this too

Yes, "be careful" please read and understand product listings, e-mails, and documentation before making decisions. It's something we hope all customers of the 3ZC Store will do.

If you order the wrong part for your application, then return it to an address other than what we clearly specify in e-mail, and at the same time return a completely different core than what we clearly describe is eligible for credit, it will cost a bit more than expected. Count on being charged at least a small restocking fee and for multiple shipping charges that are incurred.

Do not count on receiving a core refund if you send us back an orange for credit when you paid a core charge for an apple. The core return sheet that was filled out and returned with the orange, stated in clear text that we only accept apples and even had a color picture of an apple on it.

Correct, and once again that was explained up front considering the TT driveshaft that was being offered on GB didn't have the CV joint on it that was asked for as a core either. So there is no difference.

We offered the option of returning a core (which was extremely well described) for credit. The assumption was that you had a TT driveshaft to return. If you did not, then we would imagine that you simply would not return a core that didn't fit the requirements and description. How were we to know you didn't have a TT driveshaft core to return? You do in fact have a NA that has been converted to TT. So who is to say that you did not aquire a driveshaft with your conversion parts? It is not our responsiblity to ensure you have a suitable core to return. Many people buy knowing they aren't even going to return a core and simply factor in the price of the core into their purchase decision. It is our responsibility to provide all the facts and clear descriptions up front, which we did. We sold lot of driveshafts in the GB and no one else has had a problem, likely because they read and paid attention to what they were doing.

Below is a direct quote from the product listing that you made the decision of purchasing.

"There is an additional refundable core charge added to the price for the rear CV yoke of the OEM TT driveshaft. Instructions for returning a core with a form that must be completed and returned will be shipped with each driveshaft. When you purchased them at the bottom of the page in red text it said:

Keep in mind that these are considered group buys, which in the typical sense of the word do not ship until all the money is collected and the GB is over. With all that being said, we do expect to ship any outstanding orders for gauge rings this week, none of which have been placed for longer than a week.

My mother had taken delivery of "THE PARCEL" earlier this week, which caused me to feel like a little kid at Christmas!
(I'm quite old in real life! - physically, not mentally!)
I have just arrived home, having worked all week on the other side of London.
The parcel was there in the entrance hall of her house.
Standing upright against the wall, trying not to look too conspicuous - NOT !.
The delivery man had nearly taken the parcel away again, because the doorbell was answered very quickly. My mother has recently fallen and fractured her knee-cap. Her speed around the house has reduced dramatically. Luckily she just made it to the door before he went.
She signed for the parcel, he put it in the entrance hall, he scarpered, and there the parcel has stayed until now.
Well, my suit case was flung to one side, a hug was given to mum, and the questions began.
When did it arrive?, were there any problems?, where's the other parcel?, it's got 1 of 2 written on the outside of the tube !, where are the chrome gauge surrounds?, you won't believe what I've got in there!, where are the scissors?, have you got the delivery note?, did he leave the other packet?, did you see the truck? A knife?, please!
Mums comment was that she hoped the tube hadn't left a dirty mark on the wallpaper.
No sign of the chrome gauge surrounds, only a great big tube with a sodding great drive shaft in it.
It can't be in there I thought, they wouldn't have put chrome rings in there with that big thing!
I started up the computer to look up my tracking number you recently sent me.
Then I connected to Fed-Ex with the hope of trying to find the lost second parcel that contained my chrome gauge surrounds.
I bet I won't see them again, I thought. I bet that parcel has got lost in the back of the Fed-ex truck and has been thrown away cos there's no paperwork attached. Mother has signed for the parcel, so the driver's paperwork is correct.
When I tracked the parcel, there did not seem to be any mention of the second parcel.
Hmmmmmmmmmm.........I thought.......
Okay let's open this thing up.
I hadn't started opening the parcel at this time because I couldn't find any scissors to hand, or knife, and the computer had been closer.
I now found the scissors and attacked the end of the tube.
Having removed lots of cellotape from the end, I managed to prise the plastic stopper out.
Bits of cardboard, a plastic bag containing the chrome gauge surrounds, a rolled up ripped oily newspaper and some bubble-wrap came out.
Blimey, they've been put in the tube with that sodding great drive shaft!
What a stupid idea that was!
Who knows which way up the tube was going to be for the whole journey from 3ZC to UK East London?
Well, I took the gauge surrounds out of their plastic bags , the bags have lots of friction rub marks on them.
I studied the edges of the rings to see what state they were in.
Unfortunately they are no longer pristine, which is what I was sadly expecting.
They are not buckled, but very small rub/knock marks are present.
The drive shaft was the final part to be removed from the tube.
It was loosely held at the end closest to where the gauge surrounds had been placed.
It was pulled slowly from the tube, my eyes getting wider and wider, a joyful grin spreading across my face.
"Oh, look at that" - I said to myself, mum had gone!
It looks great, but.........
There does not seem to have been any balancing done to the shaft !
There is an enormous blob of weld at one end which will surely cause a vibration at speeds !
I presumed wrongly, that it would arrive as a precision bit of engineering !
I know you have got to be careful when welding Aluminium, but finish the job, chaps, please!
I have taken some photos, and have now put the drive-shaft back in the tube.
I thought I was going to want to sleep with these parts before I arrived home, but I don't feel that way now.
OK, I've got the parts I wanted, but the sensation has been dulled.
I've found the stickers in the Fed-Ex envelope attached to the tube. That cheered me a bit.
Thanks for getting the parcel to me so quickly, it was nice to come home to.
The delivery was really rapid.
I shall be taking these, and others parts, with me to Spain, which is where the car, and missus, is.
That will be in about 6 weeks time.
Mum just said I could NOT leave the parts there on the floor !

To ship the gauge rings in a separate package would have cost another $40 or so. They should have been protected and packaged well. Any smudges or marks should be able to be wiped off. If not and you are convinced they are too damaged to install we will refund the purchase price for them.

Thanks for the reply and positive comments.
Knowing that the driveshafts are shipped perfectly balanced is an assurance although it certainly doesn't look as though it has been balanced. Only fitting it to the car and giving it some "welly" will prove that!
I will see what can be done with the rings. There are slight marks on the top of the rings that catch the light.
Obviously, the tube did not stay the right way up throughout it's journey.
They are not too damaged to be installed, but they are not pristine either.
$40 is too much to post another set. That's without the cost of sending these back !
Maybe future customers could receive rings better packed with more cardboard between EACH ring.
These were packed all together in a plastic bag, rubbing each other with the heavy weight on top of them.
Admittedly, they were individually wrapped in their own plastic bag as well, but a drive shaft is a sodding great bit of metal, albeit mostly Aluminium.
I still don't feel like sleeping with these parts tonight !

But I do have one complaint (more like constructive criticism). The store website seems slow. I had a hell of a time logging in to make my purchase and I tried it on 3 different internet connections, so I know its not me. It just stalled and stalled and stalled trying to log in. Once I finally logged in, it asked me to log into the forums here, and then that took a while too.

Overall a great store and great service, but I know from experience that a lot of people are not as patient as I am about computer problems like that because they do not necessarily understand what is happening.

Just received the e-mail that you sent after making this post. We will be more than happy to take care of the problem for you. We are certain that the package left here complete. We obviously didn't send you a damaged and reboxed package. Looks like some shipping damage and loss occured during transit. ordered z1 smic last month and got everything perfect. just got my subframe spacers this morning and i just ordered them thursday! i love it. already installed, test drove and worked on my dads car today. I've never had a complaint about the quality of the 3zc store service post purchase, but I wanted to give a HUGE thank you to the 3zc store and N20Z especially for accommodating my nagging PM's over the last few months. The last 4 or so items that have come across the border were tagged with a brokerage fee that was nearly equal to the cost of the origanl item. That along with the other normal associated border fees/taxes is making it rather prohibitive to do automated ordering. The reason being is that I routinely will request that the vendor assign a value of something very very low but albeit believable enough for the border folks. That in itself will reduce the cost factors of the associated fees as well. Shipping via USPS may take a tad bit longer (which is accepatable) but the Cannadian postal system has a very low set brokerage fee that's very pallatable.
Before I pull the trigger on those TB's, I've got to know that I'm not going to end up paying nearly double by the time they get into my grubby little paws. :)
I'll await your findings.

The deal is it's late and could be later. In fact right now I'm debating on whether or not to even have a GB in June.
With the Z events coming up many of our vendors are busy dealing with them. I am tied up dealing with different shows/events.
Last months mess with the Brake upgrades, getting constant complaints when we have them up, then when we're late getting them up.
We have done our best to supply great products at great buys and still getting hell no matter what we do. Our vendors didn't have to work this out with us and we didn't have to put the GB's together at all. It was something we did for the community. Yes it's worked well for the vendors as well as the consumers.

you and N20Z have been doing a GREAT job! no complaints out of me, and the way you handled the brake kit issue earlier this week was right on. If the GB's end forever or even just for a few months I still appreciate everything you guys have done for me and the Z community as a whole.

I will continue to support 3ZC group buys, even if I dont buy something that month. I've only bought 2 things, consequently almost exactly a year apart, but I am always looking. Not only do the group buys kick ass, but the 3ZC store in general kicks ass. If people don't like the way it's being done, then they can produce their own group buys and see how much work actually goes into it. Also having my own parts business I guess I am biased as I know all the behind the scenes shit of what really needs to be done. If something is a little late, as trivial as a vote to see what deals to have NEXT month, deal with it. The guys here are producing a major service, that if not for them, you would be paying full price for. Which brings me to this...
STOP BITCHING The guys here are doing this for US. They're doing US a FAVOR, that they are not obligated to do, and quite frankly looking at the prices, half the stuff they aren't even making that much of a profit on. I've always supported the 3ZC store and group buys, and I'd never sit here and bitch for them doing us a favor, even if nothing of interest is up in a group buy.
