I replaced mine with the 99/00 spec tails only because the original ones were scratched, faded and distorted in shape. Opting to the newer OEM type seemed the most prudent move assuming that a new set of the older oem ones would cost the same or even more.

Going thru the Z1 site the 600 turbo kit weighs 40.4 pounds and costs $242 to Australia.

Ok place the same 600 kit in the cart in the Group buy page (still Z1) and the postage jumps to $298 and 60.6lbs? :feedback:

what I was trying to say is that before, JDM tails were out of financial reach of ricers. Now, every single ricer with a Dragon Z bodykit and WeaponR intake will also have a set of JDM lights...:barf:

in the store, it says shipping to Canada is $50 for the '99 tail lights. Does this include it passing through customs, so any taxes/duty that I would need to pay are taken care of?

Also, I know they're JDM style, but are they actually made in the U.S., or imported from Japan? Items manufactured overseas are charged more duty by customs.

I will be ordering a set of the '99 J-Spec Tails and my car has a crack in the panel that covers the TBL. Do the J-Spec's come with a TBL panel or do I need to find a place to order them?

The TBL is separate (you're talking about the long narrow thing right? Not the rectangle between the tail lights? The latter is the center panel, and it IS included.)

I just bought a 2+2 and it has a crack in the TBL so I was going to upgrade to the J-Spec's and was hoping to get a TBL panel. I should just upgrade anyway...

If you do the Jspec's then replace the TBL it'll look 1000000times better. I'll probably end up getting another TBL for stock soon. I can't remember if the 2+2 I bought back in November has a factory wing or not. Guess if I went to get it I'd know.
