Suggest and discuss possible November 3ZC GB choices in this thread.

Please remember if we have held a Group Buy on an item with-in the past year, we won't feature the same item again for at least a year. Many of the suggestions we saw in this thread last month were for items that have already been offered. Buy them while they are on special because it will be a while before you get another chance to.

We need to address "Escort" products because they continue to come up. We would love to do a GB on Escort stuff but we only offer products that we can offer significant savings on. Turns out that Z1 is selling the Escort stuff at barely above the price they paid for it, because of a bunch of unexpected costs in getting it here to the US. The best prices on Escort products are already being offered. There is no reason to put that stuff in the running for the monthly group buys because it is going to be the same price you can get it for already.

We take your suggestions and go over them carefully, however we are simply unable to purchase some products suggested at significant savings in volume in order to justify a GB. Availabity is another factor that sometimes causes certain items to be axed before they ever make it to the poll.

Powertrix doesn't make swaybars (they sell suspension techniques swaybars). I think you meant strut tower bars...and their black powdercoated ones look sick. I kinda want to trade my silver powdercoated one for it. I also doubt the 3ZC would sell stuff from powertrix. Have you noticed that all the products they sell are Z1 or AMS. Those are their main partners in this GB endeavor. Powertrix has their own GB's (one going on right now til the end of Sept.)

I am pretty sure a tranny rebuild kit won't end up on the GB. There isn't a single vendor who has one and that is a very in-depth and difficult task to rebuilt a tranny.

Not sure about people recommending tires either...

to tell you the truth, i'd have to look into it...if people are serious and we have A LOT of people who want a particular Craftsman mechanics tool set from Sears (like # of pieces in the tool set), i prob could work something out and get us a discount...keep in mind that those things are heavy as hell and shipping wouldn't be cheap...but i would have to look into it if people were REALLY interested

Remember a while back when there was an error on the sears site and they where listed for like $10 or something a set. Probably more than 50ppl from tt.net bought a set.

Im sure it wont be that cheap but it will still probably be a hit. As long as it is cheaper than they are when they are on sale + they dont weigh that much.

- Chris' sub boxes. I have always wanted one, but the price was kicker enough.
