View Full Version : VOTE for the January 2009 GROUP BUYS you want to see in the 3ZC STORE!
There will be two or maybe three group buys next month! So the two products with the most votes will be on sale in the 3ZC store. Please vote on a product only if you are seriously interested in purchasing at a great price.
The 3ZC store is committed to bringing our members incredible deals on the quality Z products they want. Polls are held here to determine what products members want group buys on. New group buys will start around the beginning of each month and usually run to the end of the month. When products are taken out of the “Group Buy” box on the front page of the 3ZC Store they will no longer be available at the special group buy price. This will usually happen around the end of the month, but some products may be removed earlier if our suppliers sell out.
Only members of 300ZXCLUB.COM are eligible to participate in the group buys in the 3ZC Store. Special group buy prices are only available in the 3ZC Store through online ordering. Products on the 3ZC Store are not available for order by phone. The 3ZC Store offers support by email only at store@3zc.com .
Please do not contact our distributors or the product manufactures regarding product pricing, orders, or status of orders on the 3zc.com store. Please send all product and order inquiries to store@3zc.com . The special prices and group buys listed here are only available through the 3ZC Store and not directly through our site sponsors or the product manufacturers.
Unless otherwise stated, group buy orders will be shipped from our distributors within (10) days after the group buy ends. Many of the products may ship sooner, even before the group buy ends. After completing an order, customers will receive an e-mail confirmation and a tracking # will be added to the order comments. However the tracking # will not become active until the product actually ships. Customers will receive another e-mail when the order ships.
Members can place orders on the 3ZC Store with confidence. We only deal with proven vendors and do our research before including products in the store. We feature products that suppliers have in stock or are readily available. In the event that there is a back-order or delay in shipping an item, you have the option of a full refund immediately. 300ZXCLUB.com stands behind your orders and guarantees your satisfaction!

Is there any chance that we can get other options than just the chrome? Like polished or brushed?

So, what's the problem? Both a transmission and pistons are in the GB selections. I voted HICAS elim :) I want to get rid of the HICAS solenoid so I have more room to mount other goodies

Hot cakes? They are pancakes...
American or Canadian pancakes (also known as hotcakes, griddlecakes, or flapjacks in the U.S.) are Scotch pancakes which contain a raising agent, usually baking powder, and contains different proportions of eggs, flour, and milk or buttermilk, which create a thick batter. Cinnamon and sugar can be added.

Or for the Hicas removal you could so this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/90-93-Nissan-300ZX-TT-HICAS-BYPASS-Eliminator-Kit-Z32_W0QQitemZ300278365060 QQihZ020QQcategoryZ10402Q QtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ _trksidZp1713.m153.l1262
then simply purchase the bypass fitting from Z1.
I got my boost hoses through them as well as my silicone couplers I'm using to fab my dual pop. Very quality part (the hoses and couplers at least).

God you guys are nazis...
I'm trying to encourage more effective GB's in a price range where cost vs savings is balanced enough for more people to get on board, equating to more money in 3zc owner pockets as well as in ours. Guess that's too intense?
I'll just remember: say nothing negative about anything ever, whether opinion or fact, whether motivated to encourage a positive discourse or not, or whether it is a valid point or not.

Suggesting cheap crap for a GB is pointless, if its less than $150.00 year round, just buy the damn thing!
Let the group buys be for HIGH ticket items or combo's there of, so we get a real deal, the loose change items are a waste of time, and ties up a WHOLE month, then we have to wait for another month, etc..
My votes is:
-AMS MANI's
-3" Down Pipes
-3" Test pipes
-GT535R Turbos' or larger+
All the petty crap like:
-Guage rings
-Lower radiator hoses
-SS Clutch lines, etc..
YOU can buy that ANY day of the week, its not gonna break your bank, C'mon guys.. Get with it already.. Higher dollar maintenance parts, and performance parts in bulk GB's is where the savings will be.
not a item listed for example as $224 normally, and are glorious BG price is: $198 or so...
Spend more or go home.

2nd most likely item on GB presently is 555 or 740cc injectors. Not everyone has the same needs, and personally I'd rather vote for something I'll actually buy. In fact i think its even worded in tnkrtoys post that they request you vote specifically for items you would buy. Yanno? The stuff you want will pop up eventually, and if not in the mean time - you wanna buy expensive stuff? Expensive stuff is expensive, stop the presses. ;)

but when you're laid off, living off only $200/week with bills to pay and food to buy, plus paying for gas running from interview to interview, sometimes the small things (yes, guage rings are a little bogus) that help maintain the car (clutch lines, rad hoses, plugs, injectors etc...) are gold for those of us who aren't sitting on a mile high pile of cash. I can't even begin to count how many times a price difference of 10, 20, or 30 $$ has deterred me or convinced me to buy something.
"if you're broke whay are you working on your Z?" is probably a question i'll get for this. why? cause i NEED to get it running, so i can sell my DD to my g/f since she doesn't even OWN a car and is driving her dads old beater POS GMC Sonoma.

Not true. I'm 20 and I would love to see a set of manis go up. I'd definitely buy them too if I wasnt in the middle of a $3500 shortblock build.
It'd be awesome for some CP Pisons, Eagle Rods, New TT Oil Pumps, Gasket Kit like COZ has which includes Cometic HG's, ACL Main and Rod Race Bearing Kit, ARP Stud Kit.... but its not likely many people need what I am wanting. Hell, if many people had the need for 850cc injectors, that'd be pretty sweet too. These 555's I have in my car are WAAAYYY too small, however the Z community is mainly comprised of beginner, low power Z's and it will be aimed more towards them during GB's because of just that; there are more of them and less of us who need the high performance stuff.
Not slamming on GB's at all. I am very thankful to everyone who manages and works the GB's for us and I understand that if you put high high dollar stuff up, sales will go down so please do not take my post the wrong direction. =]

you have a point, i live my life saving a few bucks here and there and that is why i can afford to splurge on certain things, however... unless you were given the car, you should not have a Z32 unless you can comfortably afford it. i didn't even dare to get a NA Z32 way back when... i did the sensible thing and got a honda and drove it for a long time until it began to break down and got expensive to fix, at which point i was able to afford a new car.
well good luck with that... if you gotta eat top ramen and steamed rice with pilferred condiment packets from fast food joints to get by, then do it! been there, done that. and you definitely dont NEED chrome gauge rings to get your ride running. ;)

This is an interesting point. I tend to agree with it, because most of the GB discounts seem to be given as percentage price drops, and a 10% price savings on a $3,000 turbo kit is a much greater dollar amount savings than a 10% price savings on some chrome guage rings. That being said, only a few people on this site have the available cash AND plan to buy things like big turbo kits and 850cc injectors. Whereas almost everyone on here can afford a chrome guage ring kit, or a red-stitched shifter boot. Although limiting the items to more expensive things makes sense to you and I, I think it's more fair for everyone that some of the cheaper items make it onto the list.

the rings and the injectors are a clear cut winner, but there is a pretty close race for the 3rd (if there is one) item. radiator pipes edged out the tranny by just one vote and hicas elim and subframe spacers are just 2 votes behind. can't wait to see what happens over the next few days!
