Everything directly around us is ok and open, however there are still numerous closures around GA, please visit this website (http://www.georgianavigator.com/closures) for updates from the Georgia DOT. Plan accordingly, and we'll see you this weekend!

I think it's personal choice as far as safety is concerned on the car show with the weather. It's supposed to rain the rest of the week down there and we have contacts down in carrollton that say it's almost under water with a lot of road closures. Me personally I really want to come but i'm not going to risk getting stuck down there even if you do some how make it to z1.

Half full! Judging by the weather forecasts, it's going to be infinitely better than it was and that's good enough for me. :)

Most shows in the UK are a washout, so I can cope with a few evening thunder storms.

Chris and I will be coming in from New Albany MS on Thursday. Hope we don't run into any problems.

Simon you may have to swim from Marta to Bremen. Steal a floatie from the plane.

Half full!

Sun is peeking out at Atlanta now, signaling that the worst is likely to be over.

Weather in metro Atlanta will return to normal, the National Weather Service predicted Tuesday afternoon.

“We’ll have a little sun for today and return to normal summer weather, light afternoon showers, some clouds, some sun,” Weather Service forecaster Laura Griffith said Tuesday at mid-day.

The Weather Service is calling for a 40 percent chance of rain and some thunder in the metro area, and a 50 percent chance of rain in northern Georgia for Tuesday – but nothing severe.

“Nothing like what we have been seeing,” Griffith said.

We'll be there no matter what. Even if we have to come in a row boat. Simon gets to row though, while Steve and I shoot tequila and smoke cigars. :burnone:

The heavy rain ended 2 days ago and chances are it will not rain here like that for another hundred years or so. Most all of the creeks crested yesterday and the rivers are cresting and receeding today. This area isn't much of a basin and run off happens quickly. Everyone relax and quit worrying about it. It's sunny here now. It's over and done with! Everything is going to be back to normal on Saturday and Sunday. There are no main roads washed away. No one is going to get stranded and your Z isn't going to get flooded. Quit dramatizing it, just pack your stuff and come on!

There has been some major flooding in parts of GA, and some in Carrollton. A couple of college apartment complexes were flooded, they were located on a creekbank and flooded. One Z1 employee's home was flooded in a neighboring county. But like Russell said the waters are down and the show will go on.

According to the Georgia DOT I-20 is reopened now and should be no issues getting here.

You guys should have nothing to worry about now. The rain is gone and the sun has been out since yesterday afternoon. There are roads that are still flooded, so just be cautious as you're riding through.

Rain through some rain this afternoon in Memphis, then a few off and on showers to New Albany.
