We welcome everyone to join us for the third annual Z Nationals (www.znationals.com) Friday March 23rd - Sunday March 25th.

This growing event promises to deliver even more for fun and activities for all Z owners this year. We expect to top the 100+ Z32's we had in attendance last year.

-Friday March 23rd. We have secured the freshly renovated Talledega Grand Prix (http://www.tgprace.com) road course for the track day. Pre-registration for the track event is only $99. Don't miss the opportunity to get out on the track and push your car to its limits. Instructors will be provided. Beginners welcomed and encouraged. Only 36 spots available, so please pre-register.
Registration available HERE (http://www.znationals.com/payment/product_info.php?products _id=28) online at www.Znationals.com (http://www.znationals.com).

-Saturday March 24th will be a full day of show& shine, dyno competition, and socializing at Z1 Motorsports (www.300zx.com). We will finish up the day with dinner and a drive south towards Sunday's drag event.
Register for the dyno shoot-out online HERE (http://www.znationals.com/payment/product_info.php?products _id=29) on the event website. Car show registration is free and available the day of the event. All Zs and Gs are invited to participate.

-Sunday March 25th, we have teamed up with the Southeastern Z Shootout (http://www.freewebs.com/sezshootout/) for the drag racing portion of this year's Z Nationals.
Don't miss it! It's a great 1/4 mile track and there will be time for plenty of passes. We plan to set-up an optional double elimination style competition for NA and TT Z's that would like to participate with prizes for the winners.

For anyone who hasnt been to Nationals before, you need to make an effort to be there!! It is a blast. So many nice Zs in one place, the show, the dyno competition, track days, great food and music, and sooo many nice people. Z owners just seem to be universally GREAT people! SO lets all go to Atlanta and have a great time thanks to Russell and the boys (and girls) of Z1

Malcolm - depending on schedule, we should hook up in cola and cruise in from there. It would be nice to get a few Carolina Z's together for the trip.

Available spots for the Z nationals track day are filling up quickly. Already about 1/3 full.

Register soon! It's a great experience that you'll never understand until you try it.
Most everyone can't wait to go to the next event after participating in their first one.
It's not a race, it's a high performance driving experience and school. Instruction will be provided for the beginners and intermediate run groups. There is no competition involved. You can go as easy or hard as you like as long as you stay with-in the rules.
Passing is only allowed in a couple of the straights. A helmet and proper attire is required. Rules, regulations, and disclaimers will be e-mailed to you before the event.

Please fill out the registration page HERE (http://znationals.com/attend/register.php) on Znationals.com if you plan on attending.

It isn't a requirement but helps us gauge attendence and plan accordingly.
Registration page will be available up until the event.

The track day and dyno are the only activities with limited spots.
The track event is nearly half full now so don't miss out and register soon.

Hey Russel,

I'd say the chances of renting a Z32 from anywhere or anyone are very slim.
You might call some of the car rental places around the Atlanta Airport and see if they can get you a 350Z. Then be sure and take it to the road course and drag day.

If it doesn't work out, your welcome to hang out with us and we will make sure we have an extra passenger seat in a Z to get you from place to place during the event.

For the most part everything about the Z Nationals is free.
If not free, only the bare minimum price is charged to help cover the expense of an activity.
-It is free to attend and watch the track day.
-It WAS only $99 to drive during the track day (before it sold out)
-It is free to go on the mountain ride after the track event.
-It is free to go to Saturday's event at Z1.
-It is free to enter the car show.
-It is $50 to put your car on the dyno for three pulls.
-It costs $10 admission to get into the drag event (just what the track charges) and $10 more to put your car on the drag strip and race.

That won't be a problem. But if you go to www.znationals.com and check out the schedule all your answers are there.

All of us here at Z1 are working double time this week trying to get e-mails and phone calls answered and orders shipped out on top of spending an enormous amount of time preparing for the show. We will not be answering phones as of Wednesday feel free to leave VM and we will return calls as time permits. We will be attempting to return "most " e-mails up until Thursday. We also won't be shipping out orders on Friday due to the track event that day. Monday March 26th we will be attempting to catch up on all our phone calls, e-mails, and fullfilling orders including beginning to fullfill the Z1 SMIC GB orders hopefully by mid week. We appreciate eveyone's patience and understanding.

I decided to go ahead an post the pix I took today. I didn't get to race my Z32  (no $$$ and I got a shake in the left front from 60-80mph) but I was able to ride with one of the instructors (thanks Chris!!!). I had a great time and looking forward to it next year! Enjoy the pix! (They are not the best in the world due to my crappy Motorolla cell-phone camera!) :uzi:

Russell, John, Shawn and the Z1 staff and Jeremy Blackwell...hats off to all of you for a great event! Your hard work paid off extremely well for all of us attendees. THANK YOU for a great weekend....hey by the way, can anyone advise me on how to get out of a GA speeding ticket (91 in a 65)? In Florida we can go to class or go to court and plead no contest. I would rather not have the points, any suggestions?

malman2100

My understanding is that GA does not transfer tickets out of state. So if your license is in FL you will not lose any points.....only money.

I've seen a few cops episodes in GA w/ Z's and wondered if it was Jeremy or Russell testing new parts....haha
