yeah the SAFC is actually the right way to do it, it allows better controll of the driveability, idle, and overall performance of your car. theres no problems with the JWT hose, other that it's asuming that the 2nd bank with no maf is getting the exact same amount of air, the safc will actually measure both banks, and average the air intake.

But you would still recommend using an Apexi SAFC (neo or -2) with dual mafs?

It would depend on the location of the oil cooler, because the filters are as high up as possible and close to the frame rail, but the Apexi filters are the best filtering units, and are dryflow elements no oil involved. i strongly recommend them. and yes if you want the bung i can drill for that and weld at no additional cost.

I have some brass fittings I can tap into the pipe before the turbo for the low speed hose when using a single maf, but having a bung already on the pipe would be even nicer and much easier for me. I would love to get your setup. I have an Apollo 3" core and the 15 row oil cooler has been relocated to the pass side IC location. Will this still provide enough room for the filters and piping?

I plan on using Apexi filters if JWT pops are too large. Let me know. Thanks.

Hey peter, yes all the stock intercooler piping is still in place, I used aluminum piping, stainless steel is an option but it's more pricey. i include everything needed to run the dual MAF set up. and if you don't have an extra MAF and SAFC a 5/8" bung is an option for the pipe with the dummy MAF im still pricing this out for the mass production but like ive told other members im thinking it will run about 150$ for the kit. that includes the pipes and couplers.

I am interested in the piping. Any more pics of the piping and routing? I might do JWT pops and ash's flower pot mod. I also have foglight ducts so it's not ALL that open. How much a setup like that? SpecialtyZ's kit isn't up on the site yet. Did you use aluminum or SS piping? did you keep the stock intercooler piping? Cuz I see your bov's are in the stock location. Thanks.

    Peter
