I am a satcom guy, but I am on a special duty assignment here at charleston working as a communications specialist on the C-17 with the SOLL II program here. I have had the Z for about 6 months now. I bought it with a blown motor and put a JDM motor in it I bought from ebay. The car ran good for a while then the transmission went out after about 12 miles of driving. So I limped the car back to the house and had it running in the drive way and somehow in took water in the intake and hydro locked. Bent the #6 rod and got the piston wedged on the crank so it was seized. As of now I have the motor completely torn apart in the garage. I'm putting in ACL main and rod bearing, ARP main studs, underdrive pulleys, GT28RS turbos, Split downpipes, Nippon rings, New oil pump, new timing belt, and all new gaskets. Should be done in a month or so.
