Blaaah. Rebuilt my TT motor last year, heads were machined wrong, had to take it all apart. Got it up and running last weekend, but bad vacuum leaks, have to replace lower intake manifold gaskets. Pulled timing belt back off last night. Lol. Its been a loooooooooooong year. Check out my build thread and garage for mods and story. Haven't updated in the last 2 weeks because of all the work I've been doing. Very frustrating
Rofl you replied on your own wall. I've been wondering why you never responded to my last post. I can get my hands on an OBDII scanner and I have the OBDI cable...so either way we can figure out what the problem is. I'll do some research tomorrow and let you know what I come up with.
That's sweet, I love the way Stillen Exhaust sounds on a TT. There was a youtube video of a dude on this forum with a black TTZ and Stillen Exhaust and it sounds really nice. I should come up to Mentor soon before school starts again.
Do you think you can help me find out what's wrong with my alternator? I get these 3 lights that come up and I was told it deals with the alternator. I'm thinking maybe a connection but I'm not mechanically inclined haha.
It's just a canadian-spec TT bumper. It looks SOO much better now that its not...broken haha. It actually looks like a Z should. It doesn't quite fix exactly perfect, and its a gloss black instead of pearl, but you can't tell unless you are REALLY looking for it.
Exhaust is amazing!!! So much better than I was expecting. I was missing one gasket so its just a touch raspy, but its deep yet quiet. Much better than I was expecting. And I LOVE the quad tips. Except I think I've either got a leaky turbo or bad valve seals. White smoke occasionally. One of these days I'll find time to do the proper tests.
