I've changed everything in my clutching system (pressure plate, clutch disc, throw out bearing, slave clyinder, master clyinder, clutch hose ) and when I drive her for about 30 minutes her RPM will studder...and drop a couple thousands and then go back up.The clutch pedal will also build pressure as I drive her. I can pull my car over and bleed the slave clyinder and fluid shoots out, which tell me that i'm building pressure in my slave when I shouldn't, and I get my clutch petal back. Thats when I changed the rubber clutch line. It didn't fix the problem, the one thing I didn't do when I bleed the system was bleed if from both bleeder valves. Any suggestions would be great...

man that has got to suck...sorry it has taken me so long to reply to your post. I've had alot of crazy crap going on in my life. I must say the motor with 40k on it sounds like sweet deal. My Z has been good...I just got back this week from going to san antontio Texas for the New Years weekend...the bad news is that I threw my clutch out doing so..but she managed to get me back home with a slipping clutch. Thank God it winter time because I had to let my clutch cool down for the 10 drive every time it got to hot it would slip. Actually, when I was driving through Lake Charlies I was thinking about how you Z was doing...Glad to hear from ya.

Wow, you have a cali Z. I'd say leave it off, but I don't have alot of knowledge on cali motor's except for there emission laws are crazy. Just to be on the safe side I will ask a mechanic tomorrow to see what his input is on it.

Parts people at those places always suck. There's usually one person that know's what there doing. I know you should know that too cause we have both been there. What part store did you go too? Our advance down here has one of there computers set up to were you can look up your own parts. I know O'reilly sucks, they don't pay so they hire people that don't know anything, because the one's that do quit. One of the guys that use to work with me didn't even know what a spark plug wire was or spark plug.
I know O'reilly's does have a website and you can locate your parts online and have them sent to the store nearest you, or you could even take down the part # so the jack ass don't get it wrong.

That baby of yours is looking nice. I love that intake!! If I get a different answer about the egr temp I will let you know, but I don't see why you cant just block it off as well.

I never understood why they have so much of the metal tubing. You would think you would want less so there air could get to where it needs to be faster. how long do you think it will take to get you ecu done and back?
