And even with searching, though its a common problem, I cant find MY solution. So knowing that you are the Z32 bose "god" I decided to shoot you a PM.


I have a set of Polk 6.5" speakers, pulled out the plastic bose enclosures, and now I dont quite understand what I am supposed to do. I went to courtseyparts.com to look at the brackets and they say only for 6", but then again I hear of people mounting 6.5"s all the time, and that is actually the recommended size by Crutchfield, and everyone on the 3ZC forums in every audio thread.

What do I need to do to mount these into my door, and can I use these black plastic Bose enclosures, or not?
