    Hey man, sorry i bailed on ya. the wifes gma isnt doing so good at all.
    I'll have the dvd ready for sure by wednesday...prolly tuesday honestly.
    and i think im gonna run with some of your ideas. Do you think you could get me a pic of the VG in a dead on point of view? i know how im gonna work with that one now

    turbo seals will most likely require replacement of the turbo. To replace a turbo, you will have to pull the engine to do it correctly. From a replacement standpoint you can either replace up the food chain with something basic like sport 500's or t25/t28 hybrids for around $1500-$2000 or you can rebuild each turbo for around $400-$500 each through a turbo rebuilder like Majestic turbo, Blue Ribbon, etc.

    If you haven't done an engine pull, it's a little involved. But it all depends on you level of experience with pulling a VG engine.

    1991 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo
    5speed, 140,xxx miles, pearl white, t-tops.
    jdm front facia, z1 one piece driveshaft, short shifter, boost jets set at 13psi, blitz bov's, greddy turbo timer, jwt ecu, full turbo back 2.5 inch exhaust.
    -Good- Runs strong, timing belt, injectors, coils, all gaskets replaced within 20k.
    -Bad- the only bad thing is that the turbo seals are bad.
    No trades... Price is OBO (i offered 4500)

    how bad are turbo seal failures? what do i have to do to fix it? i need to know what im getting into.

    Honestly, I don't do a whole lot of it anymore. Not sure if I am going to do too much of it anymore as I have been doing it for SOOO long and am just getting burnt out on it. I don't really make a anything off of it as I usually only charge folks cost and my travel fees (usually around $20 for gas and shipping). Keep me updated with what you need and if I can't do it there is another local Z club member that is a buddy that will do it for you.

    that was cool of you to resolved a 4 year long problem with somebody, i dont know the whole details but you sound like a cool guy to do that. i may need some parts chrome in the future!
