Everything u are saying is very tru. But in my case I need the simpler of the 2 because, there are less wires which will help with the wire tuck I am doing. and with the Nistune, you are the one tunning the computer and telling it how much fuel to give, or not to give, besides, I am now leaning toward AEM which is god when it comes to tunning parameters.

there is alot of extra censers cuz it is obd2 and obd1 has like 120 or so obd2 has 250 or so but over all they really help for 96 with the upgrade u can tell it how much upgrade parts there is not to mention obd2 is smart it knows how much gas to give when u floor it and all while chipping one only tells it more gas so u wast alot and dont gain as much as u can with 2 source is the master mechanic at my work he has over 46 years of experience

for the whole 96 ecu upgrade look at jegs they do a ecu upgrade all u need to do is get it reprogrammed to many people on this site dont like the 96 because they dont understand them
