Nissan Test Facility Nissan will be conducting an exclusive tour of this fascinating test facility for convention goers. The 3000 plus acre, high security compound is located approximately 25 miles south of Phoenix. This is Nissan's only proving grounds located in the United States. This tour will only be available to registered convention goers!

Guided tours/cruises will be Payson/Sedona/Jerome/Prescott/Tortilla Flat/Mt. Lemmon/Salt River Valley... these are all amazing roads :)

The GF wants to make the roadtrip to this one. 3,784kms - don't know if it will take 3 or more days to get there though.
I really enjoyed my trip to the 09 ZCon in San Antonio and would love to see more of that part of the USA.

3-4 days each way to get there.
a week on site.
= 3 weeks of vacation time used up and a wife left at home w. 2 kids

Its about $780 in gas to drive, plus a hotel stay each way, food, wear n tear. it averages out to about $1300.

Hmmm...Definitely going to Branson this year. I will see if I can swing this too. It would be pretty cool. err...hot, but cool.

Actually, I don't think I've driven my Z to see my dad there yet. But my other trips to see him in Kansas City or the annual Branson, MO, trip, I've taken my Z.

Already gout our room lot reserved. Will be there all week. Hoping our car club will be a lot stronger so we can do a decent showing. We had a good thing going years ago. We will see if it continues soon enough

I'd love to see Nissan's proving grounds, but the expense of time lost and money spent isn't worth it to me. I hope those who forfeit the time and coin have a good trip though. Bring me back a t-shirt though Bernie :D

yep south carolina here. It will cost 1800 to ship the z back and forth. Plan tickets, Registration, food, hotel It could be a 4,000 trip. Cant do it!.... although I would love to see out west. Zcon in Savannah was ok for the show lots of down time with nothing to do. Needed more to do on the tentative schedule. It was only 1.5 hours from home but I think z days and znats are much better events!.. But this is just me! I heard other say that z con Savannah was a sucky Z con which was my first. Maybe I just went to a bad Z con!

Can't disagree with the less than great reviews about 2011.

Nashville 2010 and San Antonio 2009 were pretty damn good :cheers:

Really looking forward to Phoenix since it will be my first time heading West for one and the guys @ Project Z32 seem to know how to have a good time :pimp:
