To all attendees:
I just wanted to go ahead and update those owners who are planning on trailering their cars down to the show. We have received NUMEROUS requests and inquiries about where and when people can bring their trailers in and where they can be parked. Based on last years attendance numbers and the large volume of attendees trying to get into the Z1 Motorsports complex, we are going to have to set a few guidelines in order to minimize any conflict between the support vehicles and the show cars/ spectators attempting to enter/ exit. Trailer's Entering Z1: Due to the variety of factors (driver skill, size of the trailer/ truck, etc), we are ONLY going to allow trucks with trailers enter the lot between 8 and 9 AM to setup and drop their cars off. We may extend this time period slightly depending on the volume of entering show cars. After that time, all trailered cars must be pushed in the lot from the front gate. We hate to have to enforce this rule, but again based on the large volume of attendees last year, it would be a nightmare to attempt turning around a truck plus 16'+ trailer once the parking lot begins to fill up. Parking of Trailers: We are going to allow a VERY limited number of trucks and trailers to park inside of the gates here at Z1 for the event. But I must stress that this is on a first come, first serve basis. Once the space we have alloted for trailer parking is full, all trailers will have to be parked elsewhere. We are currently working with a nearby church and its pastor for permission to park trailers in the parking lot as well as some open property adjacent to the shop. I will know the first of the week where trailers can and can not be parked. Other arrangements: To help ease the struggle of attendees attempting to unload their cars from their trailers, we will allow anyone who wishes to drop their cars off Friday night to do so. The were will be a Z1 Employee here at the facility for the better portion of the evening and the gates will be locked and secured during the night. If you would like to drop your car off Friday night, please call us here at the shop to notify us. This will ensure that someone will be here when you arrive. Please keep in mind that majority of the Z1 Staff will be returning from the Road Course Event at Little Talledega in Alabama on Friday. If you have any questions or concerns, please fell free to contact me either through PM, email (dustin@300zx.com), or phone (770 838-7777). We look forward to seeing everyone next weekend!
