This is for anyone riding thru I-95 to I-20 West in South Carolina.

Our South Carolina Z members will have 2 groups leaving out on Friday the 23rd. The first group, will meet up and 8:30 and Hit the road by 9:00AM. We will meet at the Burger King at EXIT 51 on I-20 just west of Columbia. With usually one stop along the way, this should put us at the host hotel about 1:00. Check in time is 2:00, but we should be able to maybe slide in just a little early. If you are coming down I95-I20 route,,, exit 51 is only 90 miles from I-95 in Florence, SC. So you can make a plan from there. We are also going to have a second (afternoon) group leaving SC as well.. this 2nd group will meet at the same exit around 4:30 and hit the road by 5:00 on Friday as well.

yiiiiikes what was EGT cruising at that speed? the most fun ive ever had trailering was the late night haul to ZDayZ this year. Out of nowhere, the Forged triple axle trailer pulled by a ford dually pushed by. This was just before the twists heading to fontana village. I tucked in behind him and he kept pushing it thru the twists at probably 9/10ths of what that combo could handle on those roads. NUTS! but i was certain if he could then so could my lighter load. I left some space on the downhills but then easily closed the gap on uphills, but by the time we reached the final stop sign at the T intersection, turning left to FV, his brakes were COOKED. I could see the smok in the night and smell it from my cab so bad i feared it was my rig. haha. i wish i had filmed it.

Ouch. Time for BBK! lol I was waiting for a diesel titan initially, but the dealers told me none were coming out anytime soon. On my long haul last night, i managed 16 mpg @ 62mph behind a semi.

A couple of us are leaving the NOLA area Friday morning around 8am headed east on I-10 to Mobile(11ish). Then switching to I-65 north towards Montgomery and so fourth. Anyone that will be in that area Around those times, PM me or chime in in the Louisiana section, Z nats thread.
