Shane, we were talking about you ALL day! "MAN why couldn't he be here with us! Why did he have to miss this!!!!!!" I had to keep reminding my dad why we didn't meet up with the guy in Clemson. Really wish you could have made it.

It did rain. It rained for about the last hour of the show, and stopped there after. Definately didn't ruin the fun though. 90% of the show was about 80 degrees and sunny. With everyone inside the garage with it raining, it actually have a lot of people a chance to meet, not to mention spend on parts.

I cant tell all of you how much fun I had, going to my first Z nationals. Tons of awsome cars, great people. Z1's building was so cool, seeing all of those parts was like being in a candy store. Turbo's, exhausts, coilovers, smic's. It was cool seeing people installing facias and the like in the show, something I've never seen people do before. Everything was awsome. I had a great time. I just thought I'd share with you all.

The GTP ZX is a great classic race car. It's great to see some of the old school stuff as well as the modern GTR. Nice pics.

I was great too see everyone again and to meet some new faces. Seeing that Skyline was pretty freaking cool. I felt like a teenage girl because they took my detailing supplies and used them on that car when it got there. You know when the teenie bopper gets to touch her favorite star and vows to never wash her hand again? lol

I really enjoyed seeing the IMSA cars. All I can say is WOW. Both cars are owned by a private individual who get this : still freaking races them all the time!! The guy that was there with the cars full time job is working in this dudes shop maintaining his fleet of historic racecars. (owner dude is an oil baron)

Then there was the track day. My first one and now I am totally addicted. I have never, ever had soooo much fun with all of my clothes on. ScarleTTs PS pump decided to go out during the event but other than that (it had been coming on for a while now) she did great! I wish I could say the same for myself, but im learning. ha

Had a blast. Just gets better and better every year! Im loading up the pics Tyler took for me (I took this year off on camera duty) and ill post them up soon!

Thanks Z1, AMS, Yokohama, Downshift, Nissan Sport, Modified and all of the other folks that made this event so great!

Actually, this year was nothing short of ridiculously insane. You might recall last year was about 3-4 rows deep.

This year was about 6 rows deep, both ends of the lot completely full, along with the front lobby parking of Z1 also full. It was CRAZY.

Even if you were just in the SC, you should still tried to make it. How's the build going?

I know the owner of the GTP and GTS race cars that were there at the show. You can see these cars, PLUS he owns one of the GTO race cars as wel, at the various HSR race events around the United States.

His name is Toby Bean, he will be at the Walter Mitty Challenge here at Road Atlanta in the beginning of May. I doubt the GTO or GTS cars will be raced at the event, but the #83 GTP car will be.

BTW..did any of you enter the dyno comp? I was one of the guys helping out running the dyno this year. I was the kid taking everyones papers and helping strap the cars down. Wearing the grey NISMO shirt.

Its coming along slowly. I wish I could have made it :(. I miss driving it. Im going on 8 MONTHS since she last seen the road. Glad you had a blast!
