i wouldn't have ask but i've looked all over for this info. On the 2009 winner chart it doesn't show the performance #.

Hello sir, the highest hp last year was Smoothaviator making 689rwhp at 28psi. But the recorded highest was Chris in his beautiful white TT with 647rwhp on pump gas. You are welcome to buy race here.

E85

That explains it. e85 cant be considered "pump gas" in my book when it comes to dyno numbers. 105 octane is nuts for pump

Very nice numbers! I wish we had 93/94 at the pump out here on the west side. Do you have a dyno graph that you can post? Or any pictures? I have heard the Z is well kept & clean, but I did not make it to the event. Thanks.

so what's the deal with the dyno numbers? Prefere just pump gas? Or can be on race gas also? I'd love to smash the record if I can make it this year lol

so i wonder why he keeps spending money on it and it's for sale. Top price for a z seems to be around 15,000, i know it sounds low but watch ebay and autotrader most bring far less than that.

Race gas or pump...it doesnt matter. Anyone can get it there at the day of the show if they want it.

You don't necessarily have to siphon your gas tank. With proper planning you could time to where you got to the Z Nationals with an empty tank. With 5 gallons of C16 on an empty tank (lights been on for a while) you should be fine.

LOL, what a horrible C-List ad.

It's obvious he's not really trying to sell it. I have talked to him a lot and he loves this car but if someone had the cash he would part with the Z.

Back on subject....Dyno Comp is needing some love. We have 3 trophies we are planning on giving away this year for the Z32 class.

- Highest Horsepower Twin Turbo
- Highest Horsepower Non Turbo
- Highest Horsepower Z or G of the Day

If you think you have got what it takes...or just curious to see what you Z will do...sign up and strap your Z down. You never know, you might just go home with a trophy?

Dustin, what is the number for the high NA last year?

Dustin@Z1
09-22-2010, 11:41 AM
It was my NA Slicktop with 242 rwhp. I will not be competing this year for the trophy however.

something that is not an ungodly compression ratio

Dustin@Z1

I think it was Dirt113's car (Keith) with around 211 rwhp. I will have to go back and look honestly. The average for most bolt on Z32 NA's is going to be between 210 ~ 220 rwhp. Anything above that generally has some kind of tuning work and/or internal work.

I still want to build another engine...see about 95mm bore. Lol.
