Quickest pass was 11.03 by a GTR. I think he was going around 127mph...this was after I showed him where the end of the quarter mile was. He kept letting out at 1000ft. and was only going 95mph.

Re: Tour of Branson '12 by adamvann3
On thursday afternoon a team of us decided to go urban exploring to an abandoned $1.2 billion development. It has been sitting idle for the past two years.
What blew me away is that everything was still intact in these homes, fixtures, wires, garage door openers ect... Plus the containers you see are filled with people's belongings (ie. furnature, clothing, childrens bikes). Really creepy how everything was just left behind. |

Re: Tour of Branson '12 by adamvann3
It's pretty much a bankruptcy type thing. The guy had financial backing and then when all the loans went to crap, they pulled out on him. Obama's bailout money was going to the execs and officers of the banks, so no fresh money would become available. He basically had to walk away and lose whatever he put in it. There became a disagreement on who owned what, and it has sat ever since. There is supposed to be an auction and maybe progress can return to that area. Right now it is just a modern day ghost town.
