just use the key in the door that you opened that set the stock alarm off and relock it. that should reset the stock alarm. sometimes they can be finiky when you open a door from the inside without sticking the key in the door itself like if you have a window down.

I'm stuck at work, since I just found the 2nd alarm on my Z. I knew about an aftermarket alarm on my car, but I was unaware of the stock alarm.

Well, after I opened my door (locked the door manually today, instead of using the aftermarket keyless remote), and the stock alarm starting blinking my lights and honking the horn. I unhooked the battery, and it still activates when I attached the battery cable. I cannot locate a valet button for this alarm. How can I deactivate this alarm?
