I actually didn't finish completely yesterday. I have one more line to install and even after that is complete I do not see my Z hitting the streets any time soon. After repainting all of the suspension arms and what not, I am not into having that all covered in salt! Damn winter .... I picked up Motul 600 for the fluids. Should I get it out though, I will let you know what I think.

Its odd that you asked about bleeding the brakes ... I just did that yesterday when I replaced the old rubber lines with SS lines. I had the links on standby lol. Good luck man, it is pretty simple. What fluid are you using?

If they aren't seated properly I could see that. Give it some time to see if the noise fades. If not, def check out your sway bar bushings.

Did you make sure to install them the way CPARK instructs ie was the top of the loop part of the heim joint leaning towards the engine with the car in the air. I could see that if not installed correctly, the excess stress on the Trod could make noise.

Your symptoms could be the Trod or the sway bar because both of those components are moving under acceleration

    When does it creak?

If in corners then I would think that the Sway Bar Bushing is making the noise. Spray some silicone lube on them to stop the noise. Also, what tension rods did you go with?

    Didn't you install ES bushings?

uhh ... IIRC the fronts are at 2 and the rears are on 3 and its pretty stiff. I think the one all around setting should be fairly docile. I don't see myself doing 4 front and 8 rear anytime soon!

Well the Z is under the knife again because after finishing the suspension project I managed to crack the rear diff cover while trying to torque the bolts down. The crack runs along the casting so I am thinking it was a factory defect. Fast forward a bit, I got a used one from Z1 and the Z will be back out on the twisties this weekend! After having such a limo ride for so long, I actually enjoy the rougher shocks now ...

How's your car been working for you since you got her bandaged up nicely?
