What about this, instead of buying a 240z or 280z for 3000 - 6000 dollars (assuming you run across a deal that good) just get another VG30DETT or even a RB25DET. I working on getting a RB20DET myself.

do you know where i can get an older z like a 240 to a 280 or a datsun 510 im selling my 300zx it is getting on my nerves i thank it might have jumped timing and bent a valve.

I bought it about three months aga and it was sitting for like two years. Freaking hugh list of stuff had/have to be done. It didnt run and I just got running so now im in the process of changing the oil pan gasket, oil and fuel filters, getting the lights to work (all of them), restoring the interior, and other small stuff.
