I personally have not experienced this problem however, when you unplug the mass airflow sensor the car goes into limp mode. I would begin with checking things like your idle air control valve and other components that may not function when in limp mode. Also are you using a mass airflow sensor with the orange label? If not this may be your problem is I've dealt with a lot of problems using non-OEM mAF's. I nixed976 I have an issue with my TT swap that you might be able to help me with. Me and my son did a TT swap on a 1991 NA 2+2. We have everything connected but ran into an issue. The car starts and then shuts down we can get it to stay on if we disconnect the MAS sensor. We've replace all of the connector on the harness and change the MAS sensor but still have the same issue. We upgraded the NA ECU with a PROM change.
